    VD Recruitment has partnered with a leading Organisation in the Home Care industry. Their office is based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and is growing, and they need a Registered Care Manager to help them manage the day to day functionality of their branch. Annual Salary : £30,000/- to £35,000/- Location : Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Hours : 8.30am to 5pm , Mon to Fri

    JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

      Responsibilities Overall management of the care delivered including creating care plans, and conducting reviews.
      Oversee company Quality Assurance (QA) and CQC compliance.
      Undertake training and development to keep up to date with the law and regulations.
      Planning, directing, following, and delivering high-quality person-centred care.
      Cover of care calls where necessary.
      Adhere to confidentiality and data protection regulations.
      Familiar with all legislation and statutory requirements concerning the provision of care.
      To support the delivery of induction training for professional carers including moving and handling, first aid.
      Leading the care team through guidance, coaching and motivation.
      Ensure all emergency on-call issues are dealt with effectively, such as covering visits either directly or indirectly when care assistants are sick or absent.
      Oversee the growth and development of the business.
      Successfully work to achieve growth targets.

    PERSON SPECIFICATION

      Requirements NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
      Minimum 3 years in a managerial role, ideally in social care or regulated sectors.
      Experience in Domicilary Care sector is a Must.
      Ability to manage financial budgets and reporting requirements.
      Prior experience in the management of domiciliary care delivery.
      Awareness of CQC regulations and knowledge of legislation relevant to the home care sector.
      Impeccable organisation and planning skills and competent in office administration.
      Demonstrable experience of delivering excellent services and best practice including awareness of formal non-verbal communication methods.
      Proven ability to develop and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally.
      Effective verbal and written communication skills.
      Proactive and flexible approach to the role.
