    JOB DESCRIPTION

    VD Recruitment has partnered with a leading Organisation in the Home Care industry. Their office is based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and is growing, and they need a Care Coordinator who will be responsible for providing full administrative support to their office. Salary Offered: £22,000/- to £27,000/-pa. Location : Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Monday to Friday , 8.30am to 5pm.

    JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

      Responsibilities Ensure all Staff Members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Domiciliary Service.
      Cover Client Care Calls as per weekly/Daily rota on Care Planner.
      To conduct spot checks, supervisions, client reviews & Feedback, Medication, Moving & Handling Competency checks.
      To be conversant with the Care Standards Act 2008 for Domiciliary Care Regulations (National Minimum Standards) and legislation governing the service and other regulations concerning the provision of both domiciliary care and residential care services.
      To facilitate the practical induction of all new Care & Support Workers.
      Ensure to carry out monthly support calls to assigned service users and update the system.
      Assess social and health care needs of new Clients and maintain ongoing assessment and review of all other Clients (in the absence of, or as requested by, the Registered Manager).
      Put in place measure to comply with CQC regulations and work to achieve the best care standards possible At the direction of the Registered Manager – to carry out spot checks and Supervision reviews of the Staff’s performance.
      Undertake direct domiciliary care as required.
      Assist Clients in all aspects of their care needs.
      Undertake initial risk assessments within Clients’ homes in line with the Company’s Health & Safety policies and procedures as requested by the Registered Manager).

    PERSON SPECIFICATION

      Requirements NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care.
      Minimum of 1-2 years of experience delivering care and understand how to coordinate and motivate a team.
      A committed to helping improve the quality of life of vulnerable people Flexibility to cover on call to meet the needs of the business (essential) Knowledge of CQC standards and CQC Compliance.
      Experience in Care Coordinating or 2 years working within Health & Social Care Full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (preferred) If you have the relevant experience & qualification and would like to be a part of a progressive team please send your cv.
